  1. Unfold and expand carrier
  2. Remove bed padding and structural panels from interior of the carrier
  3. Locate opening on lining at bottom to insert flat structural panel
  4. Install bed padding above liner on bottom panel
  5. Locate opening within the lining on carrier’s upper to install curved structural panel
  6. To install straps for use as a backpack, locate and expose attachments located on the bottom of carrier’s back

Please note the upper reinforcement may be removed while in flight to ease storing your carrier in the required space below the seat in front of you.
